Registration

Users

Enter in your name, e-mail which will be your login name, phone number, payment  information and a strong password. Strong passwords are generally a combination of letters and number and at least 8 characters in length.

We partner with Stripe for payment processing. Stripe is a leader in the field and JustStuck does not store or retain any payment information. This is all handled by Stripe.

Experts

Enter in your name, e-mail which will be your login name, phone number, payment information which is your bank account and bank routing number and a strong password. Strong passwords are generally a combination of letters and number and at least 8 characters in length.

Getting Assistance from Experts

  1. Enter a brief description of your problem. For example, “stuck installing a garbage disposal”
  2. Hit search
  3. A list of available experts will be shown on your phone with ranking of the experts and reviews if available, cost per minute for assistance and a list of skills and expertise.
  4. Pick the expert you would like to work with by checking the box next to their profile information
  5. A message will be sent to the expert and if they are available and can help they can accept the offer
  6. If they accept a voice\video chat session will open on your phone
  7. If they do not accept you can go back and select another expert

Responding to a request for help

  1. Experts will receive a notification that a user wants assistance.
  2. The Expert can accept or decline.
  3. Once an Expert accepts a video\voice session will start.
  4. Work with your User to get them to explain and show you the problem using the camera on their phone or tablet

Session

The unique aspect of JustStuck is that it allow a User to show the Expert exactly what the problem is.

Within the VV chat session there are several icons  across the top of the screen.

  • Far left audio mute button.
  • Center screen icon allows you to switch the camera view from the screen side to the back at will.,
  • A timer in the upper right hand corner shows the time elapsed in the session.

At the end of the session simply hit the end button and the session will close. Users can rate the Expert and share a like on social media. Experts can share a like on social media.

Billing and Payment

Billing

Once a session ends JustStuck will calculate the amount owed based on the elapsed time and the per minute billing rate. The final amount will be billed to the Users credit card or payment method entered upon registration.

Payment

Once a session ends and the cost of the session is calculated information will passed to our payment processing partner Stripe.  The JustStuck fee of 15% will be deducted and the balance of the fee will be posted to the Experts bank account per the posted remittance schedule.

Ratings and Reviews –  Shows how you are rated by Users you have helped.
